Will's 1st Baseball Game

Will started his first season of baseball this year and had his first game last Thursday. His team name is Red Bulls and it has 5,6 and 7 year olds on the team. The age and skill difference is pretty big right now (he's just 4) but despite that, he's doing great and loves to play! This league is coach pitch (apparently, t-ball doesn't exist anymore!) and he can hit the ball pretty good. He didn't get a chance to hit for this game (time limit ran out) but the coach said next time Will, and the 3 others that didn't get to hit, will be first in the lineup.
Soccer practice just started up this week too and those games start in a couple of weeks. We need to put a sign on our front door, "if we're not here, check the ball fields"!
Pictures from his first game...
Before the big game... practicing his swing

of course, Wyatt had to practice too!

The team "warming up"

It looks like Wyatt is stretching here, but he was playing catch...it got away from him!

Waiting to go out on the field...

Will playing shortstop...not enough action in that position though. He did alot of playing in the dirt!

Trent giving "words of encouragement"

Still playing in the dirt at Pitcher...gotta love the 4 year old attention span :)

Wyatt talking to the "big boys"

Game is over. We won 3-2 I think.

So much fun...what a game!!!
