Rain, Rain Go Away!!!

**** Warning...blog update and picture overload!!***** 3 new blogs below.

Okay, so I'm a little behind on the blogging. Why not use this wonderful rainy day to catch up?! In fact, it has been raining for about 2 weeks straight. I am SOOOOO ready for SUNSHINE!!! The boys are ready to go outside and release some of this energy. Multiple rainy days in a row + 2 very active little boys = CHAOS

I really think they are going to hurt either A)themselves, B) each other, C) the house , D) ME, or E) All of the above! Maybe today we can get on some old clothes and go outside and play in the rain. I can hose the mud off and put them straight in a bath. Maybe....

Anyway, since we have been inside so much, I just had to take pictures of their latest invention. It's their behind the couch bed/tent/boat (whatever they decide it is at the time. It can change at a moments notice). The house is a disaster and at this point, I'm just letting it stay that way. Why pick it up when it will be right back to the same condition in approximately 2 minutes?!

If you have little ones, you can appreciate this. If you don't, please enjoy your peaceful, quiet, clean surroundings!!

Pregnancy note: I am officially 5 weeks pregnant today! Feeling very tired and more hungry than normal (which is alot for me!). I think this tiredness is contributing to the whole messy house thing. Oh well, the mess will wait for me! It's not going anywhere :)

Wyatt apparently hitting Will with a Dora book...

Will was not a happy camper!

I got this picture by saying, "smile Will"!

Wyatt is just happy that Will is home today and not in pre-school!

I never really understood when people used the phrase "climbing the walls" until the boys came along!

We've got all the pillows back there now. lets jump!

Night Night boys!

Good morning! Getting out is the fun part!

See!!!

If Will can do it, I can too!!!

Boat Ride and Soccer Game

Soccer season has officially begun!! Will has had a couple of games so far and is a great little soccer player! He's on the Blue Dragons, number 13. The team is really very good and is SO much more aggressive than last year. Last year he played in the Kickaroos league which was 2-4 year olds. This year he has stepped up to only 2 goals (have to go in the correct goal!) and a bigger field. They are so cute out there playing. It's more competitive but they are still cute little boys playing soccer!

He's going after it!
Lot of running in soccer!!

Go Blue Dragons!!!

Great job!!

We took Rachel and Landon out on the boat for the first time and they had a blast. Well, what Rachel could see of it that is! She lost her glasses about 5 minutes into the trip! Mom and Dad kept the little boys (Noah and Wyatt) and Brent was at a church camp.
At first, Landon was pretty scared. He eventually got more comfortable and had a good time. It was so funny, he wanted someone’s arms wrapped around him at all times. The boys had so much fun together! They played in the water and pretended to tube! They even got to fish a little.
They are so silly together! At ages 3 and 4 I guess we should expect that! :)

I love you Cuz!!

Looking at a spider...what is it with us and spiders??!!

The three stooges!

So Silly!!!

Uh Landon....whatcha doin?!

So much love!!

The boys fishing....notice who has the poles!

They LOVED playing the water!

I think we can do this...yeah, we can do this!!

Hiking Bledsoe Creek and Pepaw's Birthday

Over labor day weekend, we did lots of fun stuff. Trent surprised me by taking Friday off work and we went to see a movie in the morning and then took the boat out that afternoon. It was just the 4 of us. The lake was so peaceful. We found a great cove and the boys fished while I layed out. It was wonderful!! Then on Saturday, we went hiking for the day at Bledsoe Creek State Park. We took the boys in our bike trailer which worked out very good over the rough terrain! That is such a great place to hike with the young kids. A big portion of the trail is following the lake shore and it was gorgeous. I can't wait to go camping there sometime! We stopped for a picnic at a playground area and the boys had a blast!

On Sunday, we did our usual Mexican Restaurant after church and we let the people know it was Pepaw's birthday. They gave him a real treat! It was so funny!!!

On Monday, we had a cookout at Mom and Dad's house with the family. It was supposed to be a pool party at Kerry's but the weather didn't cooperate. Oh well...we had a great time anyway!

It sure was a fun 4 day weekend!!! We need more of those :)

Here are some pictures from pepaw's big surprise and the hiking trip.

Gotta love a sopapea (sp?) in the face!!

They made him wear a GIANT Mexican hat and "fed him" an ice cream surprise!

The GIANT Mexican hat...

He was a good sport though...and of course shared the treat!

His picture is now forever on the "wall of shame" at El Ray in Portland!

Our Hiking Adventure....

The boys riding in style!

Gorgeous shots everywhere. I love how me and Trent look
"tied" together! We're not by the way :)

We saw lots of pretty wildlife

The boys loved getting out to explore...

Don't think this goldfish pond was natural to the area :)

We survived the big hills....don't strain too much honey!!

We took turns pushing the stroller....

bigger hill, less straining...I'm just sayin...

Of course, if there is a gate, I have to get the boys to climb it!

Hey Wyatt, look at this spider...we always seem to find spiders :)

Another self timer shot, there were so many photo ops!

Where do they get all that energy?

Playing at the lake shore.

Brave Will climbed all the way to the top!

Brave Wyatt, climbed to the top of the slide!

Wheeeeee

Trent showing the boys the "big boy swing"! Wheee

Big News!!!!

For anyone that read my last post, well...I think I am going to have to eat my words! We found out yesterday that we're going to have another baby!! :) I'm very excited...a bit surprised, but very excited! I am only 4 weeks along so its VERY early at this point, but we are both so excited!! By the way, the quote I am referring to from my last post is "Can't wait to be diaper free" ... looks like it will be a little while now!! I can shoot for getting Wyatt out of diapers before baby #3 comes along though!

Will and Wyatt are both excited as well. Will asked me this morning, "is it going to take a long time for the baby to come?" I said yes and he said, "well, when you're belly gets really big, I am going to think you ate a baby". Oh so silly! When I first told Wyatt, he patted my belly and said, "baby sleeping" then he said it was a "gurl baby".
It doesn't matter either way to us of course, we'll just wait and see what God gives us. Be prepared for more pregnancy posts to come!

Pee-Pee Progress!!

Wyatt has been trying to use the big boy potty for a couple of months now, mostly just for play. Everytime one of us (Me, Trent or Will) goes to the bathroom, he says "me pee-pee too" and sits on his potty until he is "all done". I think the real reason he likes to do this is because he gets to wash his hands afterwards....almost an obsession with him!! Most of the time he sits on his potty with all his clothes on. We just wanted to get him comfortable with it before we started trying to actually potty train him. Also before bath, we get him to sit on the potty to try to get the pee-pee out. He runs "nakey bird" from his room to the bathroom, sits down and sings his song "pee-pee come out of me...pee-pee where are you?" Nothing happens. Then he gets in the tub and wha-la ... here comes the pee-pee! Trent, the usual bath giver, says, "tell me when you feel it coming and I'll take you out and put you on the potty" but he never feels it coming.
Well, the past 2 nights, he has stood up and said, "Daddy, pee-pee" and then actually went in the potty!!! We did lots of celebration and he was so proud!! If he keeps this up, it won't be long until we start the whole training process!! Can't wait to be diaper free!!

Here are some pictures of him trying today. I'm sure he'll thank me for this later :)

Make sure you "push it down in there" :)
singing his potty songs!

No luck today, but at least I get to wash my hands!!

Say cheese!

Aw Mom!!
